visualintel > The Schmidt & Bender M-854155 DS Scout Sniper Day Scope is mounted on the M-40A3 sniper rifle.  The Marine Corps adopted the new scope recently and the scout-snipers of 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment made its first combat kill with the optic at the end of January.
