The Arabian Gulf (Mar. 23, 2003) -- Personnel assigned to the line shack stand by with Mark One tie-down chains used to secure Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW-14) aircraft on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln and Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW-14) are deployed conducting combat missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. A Òdancing watersÓ fountain on the shore of Lake Michigan, was dedicated in the honor of Dr. Laura S. Clark.  In e-mail messages from space, Astronaut Clark often spoke of seeing Lake Michigan on whose shores her hometown lies.
