MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. Chief Warrant Officer 2 K.R. Silvers, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment battalion gunner, keeps his loved ones company shortly before boarding a bus. Silvers was one of approximately 50 Marines and sailors to leave here for Iraq as part of 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiments advance party to help pave the way for the arrival of the main body in March.
